Online Chemistry Tutor

University of Oxford - Chemistry - MChem

I create bespoke classes for my students based on their strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning styles. I operate by the principle of 'if you don't understand it, I'm not explaining it properly', and one of my favourite things about teaching is working out new ways of explaining tricky concepts. Along with this, one of my key strengths is my infectious enthusiasm for science and maths, which ensures that my lessons are engaging and productive.

About me

I graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford, in July 2017 with a first class MChem degree in chemistry. I love disco and house music, and in my spare time my friends and I regularly go to see live DJ sets. Whilst at university I skied for the Oxford 1st team, as well as playing rugby for my college team.

Tutor Experience

I have been a Chemistry tutor with Spires for three years, during which time I have tutored A Level students, university applicants, undergraduate and postgraduate students. I mostly work with A- Level Chemistry students - last year my best student improved from a B grade (predicted) to an A* grade (actual) in 17 lessons.
