Online Mechanical Engineering Tutor Ali

I have obtained my Ph.D. from the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia in 2014. Since then, I worked as a lecturer in the Petroleum Engineering Department teaching common mechanical subjects till June 2017 where I have been promoted to senior lecturer. After that, I have continued in the same department until May 2020 where I moved to the Mechanical Engineering Department.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in engaging students, emphasizing the need for learning outside the classroom (and being accessible to help this along), and focusing on conceptual learning and practical skills. I try to implement these elements in and out of the classroom. As for students’ engagement, I use a variety of tools and ideas to keep students engaged, interested and motivated to learn the subject matter. One of these techniques is Brainstorming followed by Think Ink Pair Share* and Problem Based Learning al which governed with a proper facilitating technique called Scaffolding.
While emphasizing the need for learning outside the classroom, I involve Online Quizzes, Online Assignments, and posting lecture notes prior to the lecture date so students have the time to read the lecture before they attend it. As a result, I have gained students' success, high evaluation, and most importantly students' respect and appreciation.
