About Me
I have studied Philosophy, Psychology and Pedagogy in the University of Athens in Greece and graduated with first honors. During my undergraduate years I was a research associate in a couple of educational research projects including the standardization of the first assessment tool of SEN needs in the Greek language. At the same time I was tutoring on a 1:1 basis students with SEN needs.
In 2015 I came to the United Kingdom in order to finish my Masters in Special Educational Needs and my PhD in Psychology.
Since then, I have been a full time Psychology teacher and I have been teaching A level students with and without learning difficulties.
A part from studying, I enjoy being active and learning new things. Life is too short to have just one hobby!
Tutor Experience
Hello, my name is Fotini and I come from Greece. I have 7 years of experience in teaching SEN students with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ADD, Autism and Asperger syndrome. My students' age varied from 5 - 18 years old. The subjects that I have taught included Maths, Life skills, English and Greek (in primary years) to Psychology, Essay writing, Sociology, modern Greek and Ancient Greek (GCSE and A level).
