I am an enthusiastic biomedical scientist with wide ranging knowledge. My undergraduate degree was in biochemistry but my PhD was in pharmacology from King's College London. My scientific research has focused on arthritis and pain, and the mechanisms behind inflammation. I have extensive academic writing experience having published over 10 primary research articles and written three reviews and one book chapter on topical aspects of my research. I have also been a science editor editing bioscience and medical manuscripts written by non-native English speakers.

My daughter, Chloe, is using Fiona to help her through 3rd year Biochemistry. Chloe is extremely happy with Fiona who has been excellent with her. She has devoted alot of time with Chloe. We are very happy with Fiona. I would definitely recommend her
Fiona has been a really helpful tutor. I had trouble with different essay formats that I'd never seen before, but I've received basically all firsts on my work with her help.
Fiona was great, she provided me with some really good feedback on how I can improve my work! I feel a lot more confident regarding the write up of my project. I would really recommended her.
