About Me
In addition to teaching Psychology, I am a keen student of karate. I am currently graded to Second Dan Black Belt and i train three hours a week and also help teach 1 class of students. I also have a very keen interest in photography and enjoy family camping trips.
Tutor Experience
I have been teaching Psychology for 18 years. I have taught in both schools and standalone sixth form colleges. I have been an assistant Head of Department for a very large Psychology Department and I have also been a Head of Department in a school. My Psychology students have achieved marks well above the national standard. I am also an examiner for AQA Psychology. This has given me expert knowledge of exactly how to interpret and answer questions in order to gain full marks. I have taught AS, A2 and GCSE Psychology for AQA. I have also been a private tutor for the last two years along side my full time job. The student's i have worked with achieved seemed to enjoy the sessions and all have had fantastic examination results.

I had Chris as a tutor for nearly 2 years to help me improve my A-Level Psychology grade. He provided me with all the necessery learning resources such as workbooks and practise exam questions. He was very thorough and always available for extra lessons I felt I might have needed. He didn't move on from a topic until he was certain I was confident and understood it. Chris made sure I knew what to expect when I sat down to do my exams and could answer every question possible and always reassured me I could do it when I was doubting myself! Chris was the best tutor I've had and he influenced my decision to go on to study Psychology at degree level.
