About Me
I was particularly proud to have prepared with a student for the IB who was applying to Cambridge University. I worked with her to take the Economics Higher Level exam.
Another good moment was when I helped a student to increase her IELTS grade, specifically in Writing, needed for university entrance.
Outside tutoring, I am a keen sailing enthusiast & am always looking for opportunities to spend time on the ocean.
I also am an amateur gemmologist, fascinated by the process from gem formation through to final gemstone.

Hello, my name is Andrew.
I have been a tutor & mentor for 12 years now.
I took a Masters degree from Edinburgh University in Politics & Government.
I also have an MBA and a CELTA, as well as training for a PGCE in the UK.
I tutor face-to-face as well as online via Skype, WeChat, WhatsApp or Zoom.
I am currently working with IB students at both Higher & Standard Level in Business & Economics as well as the Cambridge (CIE) AS & A Level syllabus. I can help with IAs & EEs as well as general course work for the IB.
I am familiar with other exam boards: AQA, Edexcel, etc.
I can also prepare students for their interviews, public speaking and assist with the development of their critical thinking skills.
As a qualified English language teacher, I am used to working with students whose mother tongue is not English.
