Since 2020, I am a full time online tutor. Coming from Mauritius, an island in the Indian ocean with a mixture of cultures and languages, I speak and write both English and French fluently.

From 2013 to 2019, I studied various branches of quantum physics via research. This involved traveling to various countries and participating in more than 25 conferences and scientific workshops. Having observed the various systems of education in the different universities and research institutes across the globe, I am au fait with a range of innovative teaching approaches.

My methodology has always been to ensure that students enjoy what they study by discovering the essence, beauty and usefulness of science and mathematics. As a demonstrator in the lab, I would always start the session by briefing the first year batch on the applications of the experiment in real life situation. On a similar note, what attracted undergraduates to my courses was the fact that I would often illustrate the practicality of concepts in modules like mechanics, linear algebra, metric space and others. Learning, for me, means being inquisitive and I have always encouraged both my classmates and students to ask: “Why?” Why should we study complex analysis? Why do we have to understand thermodynamics? Or why should we learn organic chemistry?

Working with me can be fun or serious. You make the choice! Either way, learners are taught to think with an open mind and to see from different angles. Although I do follow any set syllabus, I like to also go beyond conventional methods. My students enjoy science and maths in their extracurricular activities as well, whether they love cooking or hiking. Maths and Science are not boring or simply about formulae.

Yashine is a really good tutor, who has managed to get me to understand many topics which I have struggled with in mathematics and statistics. He always goes the extra mile to ensure I understand the work. He is also very accommodating, always willing to help and offers extremely reasonable prices for the lessons. Great teacher, good at explaining and makes classes fun and interesting. Is very patient and has no issue giving extra attention or arranging classes for anything specific that you're struggling with. Makes sure his students are confident in their work and is easy to contact. Yashine is a very very good tutor, he explains everything well, makes sure you understand everything and teaches to the best of his ability. By far the best tutor I've ever had and I highly recommend him to those who seek tuition in Maths or Physics/Chemistry. I met Yashine when he worked as a tutor under my Cambridge curriculum. We've spent hours discussing various subjects and I can honestly say that I'd recommend, Yashine. During my time working under him as a student, he gave his all to make sure I knew my work and that I had a comfortable, firm understanding of it. He'd go the extra mile to give an indepth and understandable explaination, and would try to make himself as available to his students as possible. I am truly happy to have worked under him during his time with Cambridge. I've know Yashine for many years. He has a unique ability to explain the most complex scienctific concepts in simple but yet captivating ways. Yashine is very knowledgeable and patient. He takes time to explain at the student’s level, giving them relevant examples. This makes the subject so much more accessible. It’s not just book learning but applicable to our daily lives. Excellent teacher and professional. I would recommend to all who want to learn more and build confidence in their maths ability. He is a hard-working person and very committed to his work. I believe he is the best candidate for this job. Besides his background in math is very impressive that there is no doubt he fit for this position. I would highly recommend Yashine as a trustworthy tutor for maths as well as many other fields he has taught and helped me with. He is good at delivering complex information in a simple and easy understanding way. Thank you Yashine Top teacher, would recommend! Yashine is a very knowledgeable tutor and will absolutely make a must to make very complex subject easy to comprehend. Brilliant Chemistry Tutor He is a intelligent, good natured man who articulates himself well and is able to explain concepts well to all different types of minds

*Very helpful but I wasn't able to get an answer to my questions today*

*He helps me in my study. There are some points I struggle with so the tutor makes it more simple and clear.
I recommended *

*Thanks for the tutor to help me. He shows me the first step to reaching what I want it. I recommend him. *

BSc (Hons) Mathematics with Computer Science - University of Mauritius (2009 - 2012)

MSc Physics (Cum Laude) - University of KwaZulu-Natal (2014 - 2015)

PhD Physics - University of KwaZulu-Natal (2016 - 2019)
