I was student-nominated for inspirational teaching in each of the last five years, and the National Student Satisfaction Survey found marketing students on the degrees I managed were the most satisfied in the country.
I have run courses face-to-face, online, and via blended learning methods. I see it as my job to be more interesting than your phone for the time we spend together!

About Me
As well as being a seasoned lecturer and tutor, I have 15 years practical experience in business and marketing, with my main focus being on business strategy, marketing strategy, direct, interactive and digital marketing, and market research.
I worked for blue chip companies such as Philips Electronics and Honda as well as a number of smaller organisations. I am currently in my second time as self-employed.
I am now so old that I only come out in black and white in photographs.
Tutor Experience
I have covered courses ranging from advertising to strategy, and from direct marketing to market research. I have also supervised dissertations at both under-graduate and post-graduate level.
The thing that makes me happiest at work has always been getting more out of students than they thought possible, and have helped many students who were bubbling along at the lower end of 2/ii to leave university with a First. The key to this achievement is you, not me - I can show you the path and give you a map, it's up to you to follow it!
