Originally from Greece, I completed my BSc in Psychology in 2015, obtained an MSc in Clinical Psychology in 2016, and an MSc in Psychology of Education in 2017. I am currently undertaking my PhD in Developmental Psychology, in UCL.
Having studied in 3 different universities has enabled me to come across different teaching styles that professors may use. As a result, I have been able to compare, and decide which teaching techniques have helped me and my peers understand in more depth and achieve higher results. I enjoy using this experience to support other students learn, overcome stuggles and gain confidence! I like to work based on students' own ideas, and help them expand and build upon them.
I have a strong background in Psychology, particularly the areas of Clinical, Educational and Developmental Psychology, in which my postgraduate studies, and my current PhD, are focused on. I am able to support students in essays, dissertations or other assignments in those or other areas in Psychology.
I also have extensive experience in the use and interpretation of SPSS, which I obtained through my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. I am highly familiar with quantitative research methods, as I am presently using them for my PhD. I have been able to use this knowledge to support students for the last year.
Maria is absolutely Amazing! Very polite and so focused she covered so much in the lesson. She helped me so much in understanding my course work in statistics.
