I have a wide range of experience across mechanical engineering having worked on projects in the rail, heavy engineering and aerospace industries. My tutoring style draws on practical, hands-on experience and aims to help clients to connect with their passion for engineering.
My specialism is in advanced manufacturing methods (particularly additive manufacturing or 3D printing), which incorporates materials science, design engineering and fundamental engineering principles amongst other topics. I have mentored MSc and MEng students during my PhD, helping them to develop research methods and technical writing ability. These skills are transferrable to clients from A-Level and undergraduate levels.
Outside of work I like to keep active - walking, rock climbing, kayaking and playing squash.
