About Me
I studied 3 years of a BA in teaching before changing career to pursue a career in marketing. I have been working in marketing for over 15years and am experienced in the private, public and third sectors. Over this time I have informally tutored several staff members, supporting them through their own marketing qualifications and love nothing more than helping others develop their marketing skills and understanding. As well as tutoring, I also work as a freelance marketing consultant and am a small business owner/director.
Tutor Experience
I have tutored on Spires since 2021, working predominantly with students studying CIM or marketing as part of their higher education. I am happy to work with students on a one-off basis, to support for the duration of a course, or anything in between. My particular strengths lie in application of theory, assignment writting and exam prep.
Prior to working with Spires, I taught for three years as part of a BA teaching degree and tutored marketing informally for a number of years. This included work with Junior Achievement companies, mentoring small business with their marketing, supporting higher education students with their studies and delivering marketing training within my freelance consultancy role.
