About Me

I am very enthusiastic and passionate about my job, and I am a hard-working person determined to achieve my goals as a professional. I enjoy the challenges which any professional practice offers and I always take opportunities to reflect on my practice to develop my professional skills. I am interested in art, music and theatre. I regularly attend art exhibitions and theatre performances in Chichester and London. I really enjoy watching TV programmes dedicated to art history presented by Andrew Graham-Dixon and I try not to miss the history programmes presented by Michael David Wood and Simon Schama. I am a great fan of David Attenborough and find his programmes as the most compelling nature programmes to watch at any time.

I consider myself a dedicated reader who has a vast range of interests in reading books written by authors from all over the world at different stages of human history. As a professional I read articles in The Psychologist magazine which I receive monthly from The British Psychological Society. I also follow the online stories and reports on psychological research and debates.

Tutor Experience

I am an experienced psychology teacher and a qualified teacher of Further Education in the UK and I really love my subject. I have been teaching psychology at A - Level and IB curriculum at two highly rated independent schools in Hampshire and in September 2019 I started working as a part-time psychology teacher (maternity cover) in a highly acclaimed independent boarding school in Surrey and finish my work there in May. From September 2020 I will start working as a permanent A-Level psychology teacher in a Sixth Form College located in East Sussex, the college has been recently graded Outstanding. I have taught AQA , Edexcel and IB curriculum and that is why I know what is required to achieve the high standard at A-Level in studying psychology and what knowledge and skills are essential for obtaining excellent exam results. I can help with essay writing and research methods up to graduate level as it was a part of my psychology and MA Ed studies.
