About Me
Next to my MSc and teaching certificate, I am highly interested in English literature and linguistics, on which I focused during my undergraduate programme. I'm currently teaching at the tutoring centre that I head and run, a secondary school, and at a Dutch university (where I teach academic writing in English). In my free time, I love to visit museums and I have been playing the piano for about a year now. I am very passionate about books and reading in general. However, the thing I am most passionate about is teaching. Teaching you!
Tutor Experience
My (bilingual) pre-university education consisted of 13 different subjects, which I all passed. My main interest lies with history, geography, and languages, but I can assist you with maths and sciences as well. As I graduated from the University of Oxford with an MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition, I am very experienced in teaching you how to learn languages and how to develop a 'feel for language'. Moreover, I am a certified teacher and have taught over 500 students in various subjects, both in groups, as well as one-on-one.
