About Me
I am exceptionally passionate about economics and am currently undertaking my Masters in Economics at the University of Exeter. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have always maintained a role in tutoring economics, as it my true passion, and I am working towards becoming an economics lecturer. My teaching style is inclusive, I prefer having a conversation rather than a lecture, and I work to ensure that students get maximum value from a tutorial. I am highly professional, and at the same time aim to explain tricky concepts in the most straight forward way possible. I take my role as a tutor very seriously, and always aim to ensure that a student's understanding and confidence is built up in the tutorials.
Tutor Experience
I am currently undertaking my Masters in Economics at the University of Exeter, which gives me a great perspective as student, which enables me to add value as a tutor. I have worked in the professional arena as a management consultant for the past 10 years during which time I maintained a part-time role as economics tutor (both distance and face-to-face tutoring). I completed my Honours in Economics through the University of Cape Town in 2011, where I was the Head Tutor for Finance, and where I also tutored Microeconomics, Game Theory, Macroeconomics and Econometrics and first, second and third year levels for the School of Economics.
