About Me
I graduated in Mathematics Education at Middle East Technical University in 1997. I also did my Master’s Degree in Evaluation and Management in Educational Programs at the University of Bucharest.
During my 24 years of teaching career I had the opportunity to take various administrative responsibilities. But teaching math was the most satisfying and rewarding one. I can easily say that my educational philosophy is based on that all students are capable of achieving higher levels of understanding if directed with appropriate method of teaching. I believe that every student is different with an individual way of learning and I always try to reflect this in my lessons.
I am happily married with three children.
Tutor Experience
Throughout my 24 years of teaching experience, I worked mainly in International schools with IB or UK curriculum. I have thought classes from middle school to high school. My educational philosophy is based on that all students are capable of learning. I believe that every student is different with an individual way of learning. So while planning my lesson I always consider the individual need of students.
I am teaching IGCSE and A Level since 2003 and IB Maths since 2011. My students got excellent marks from IGCSE, A levels and IB Mathematics HL/SL.
Since 2016 I am marking HL papers and IA's as an IB Examiner. Being an IB examiner gives me a unique point of view so that I can assist my students to better themselves.
