Online Biology Tutor Ayesha

I am a young, passionate and enthusiastic tutor with knowledge of the core subjects such as Maths, English and especially Science. I am now currently in my final year of my Immunology PhD at UCL, whilst also working part-time as a science mentor/supervisor with a specialist company that holds enrichment classes for young children. I therefore value the importance of education and have full confidence in my ability to prepare students with the knowledge needed in their studies.

Having completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science (BSc) at Imperial College London, I decided to to specialise in an area I was really passionate in - our body's immune system. I therefore undertook an MSc at UCL in Infection & Immunity. I truly find the battle between infectious agents and our immune system to be a fascinating and ever-changing arms race and am thus have focussed my PhD on a unique subset of immune cells and enhancing their potency against bacteria.

Throughout the years I have developed various methods and techniques to study and I am fully aware that different techniques work well on different people and am therefore patient and willing to help students learn in a way that is best suited to them. I believe studying can be very rewarding, not just in terms of the outcome of grades, but also in enriching and deepening an individual’s ability to understand and I would therefore love to help make it an enjoyable experience for students.
