Kaleem is a passionate, driven and enthusiastic teacher of Physics and strives constantly to improve his teaching methods and the resources he provides to his students. His expert and bespoke design, and use of technology, allows parents and students to track progress in real-time.
With a comprehensive and ever-growing list of resources such as videos covering British Curriculum Syllabuses including traditional and bold practical demonstrations, Kaleem is aware of the need to attract and hold the attention of his students. To this end he explains Physics concepts through skydiving, bungee jumps, zip lines, bungee swings and fast cars. Kaleem features in all of his productions and his demonstrations also include experiments that students can take part in from home. He continues to embrace social media and is now developing resources on various platforms.
He has written two endorsed textbooks for Cambridge Assessment International Education and Pearson Edexcel. It was his students’ thirst for the essential details in an easily digestible manner to help them to achieve their full potential which inspired the writing of Cambridge IGCSE Physics Explained and Edexcel International GCSE Physics Simplified.
An educator since 2005, Kaleem was born on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland in 1980.
Beyond Kaleem’s professional work, he is a married father of two, one boy and one girl, whom his world revolves around. Kaleem is a keen golfer, footballer, cyclist and high-intensity interval training enthusiast. He loves to travel and explore different cultures and their heritage. He has a passionate interest in personal development and growth and has attended several courses. Kaleem enthusiastically passes on success mindsets and habits to his students inspiring a can-do approach.
I tutor to the exam and leave out any unnecessary fluff. My verifiable track record is 98% A* - C in the last 3 years
My teaching experience includes:
15 years of teaching in schools in the UK and the Middle East
5 years fulltime private tutor
18 months of online tutoring
I am a highly resourceful tutor and have prepared structured courses that broadly differentiate between students based on current academic performance. I teach using professional equipment such as studio microphone in a sound-treated room. I use 2 cameras when teaching and often demonstrate experiments live or by a video where live is not appropriate. Such as demonstrating terminal velocity whilst sky diving or a the energy changes in a bungee chord whilst doing a bungee jump.
My students are provided with:
* short back up videos of the entire course
* 1000s of exam questions and mark schemes
* weekly quizzes with instant feedback
* end of topic tests marked and returned
* parent tracking system - live online report card
* extra 15min 1-1 time either side of a lesson if required
* access to my google drive with all resources neatly organised and structured into bitesize topics
