About Me

I have recently submitted my PhD thesis in the philosophy department at the University of Warwick. During my PhD, I have taught various philosophy seminars for modules including Ethics, Moral Psychology and Philosophy For The Real World. I also have experience presenting accessible talks on philosophy to a non-specialist, school age audience. Before my PhD, I completed a BA in philosophy with First-Class honours and an MA in Philosophy, with Distinction, at the University of Warwick.

Tutor Experience

Since 2018, I have taught undergraduate seminars for various philosophy modules at the University of Warwick, including Ethics, Ethics of Socialibility, Moral Pyschology and Philosophy for the Real World. I have also marked essays, helped grade oral presentations, and conducted one-to-one office hours with students. In 2019 I was awarded the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence for Post-Graduates Who Teach, based on the positive feedback I received from my students. I also have experience communicating philosophical ideas to a non-specialist, school-age audience.

Topic Expertise

The title of my PhD thesis is "Evolutionary Debunking Arguments and Explanatory Constraints on Belief" in which I examine whether the evolutionary origins of our moral beliefs undermines the possibility of objective morality. More broadly, I have experiences teaching Ethics, Meta-ethics, Epistemology, and I have completed both undergraduate and post-graduate courses in a wide range of philosophical disciplines.
