About Me
I am currently a researcher in Organisational Studies and Employment Law at Portsmouth University. I hold a Master of Research (MRes) from Birkbeck, University of London, MBA from London South Bank University and LLB (Laws) from the University of London.
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and I hold a Diploma in Education (Lifelong Learning) and a PG Certificate in Higher Education Academic Practice.
In addition to higher education teaching and research, I also have significant industry experience in legal practice (employment and commercial law), project management and consulting.
My teaching expertise covers most areas of business management and law, and I have received excellent feedback on my ability to simplify complex topics and present them to students with clarity while maintaining high engagement.
My objective would be to work with you and guide you to become the best version of yourself.
We would first identify your academic goals and review your curriculum and learning outcomes. We would then plan and set up a realistic and achievable program of online and personal independent study to help you achieve the best outcomes in your studies and assessments.
Tutor Experience
I have led and taught business management, law and research courses at Coventry University, Glasgow Caledonian University and Oncampus Birkbeck, University of London.
My teaching expertise covers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and professional qualifications. I have successfully delivered teaching in most areas of business management, research methods and law on these courses.
I always work collaboratively with each student to assess their prior knowledge of the relevant topic and their intended objective. I would then identify their individual learning style and tailor teaching and learning accordingly.
Topic Expertise
My expertise covers most undergraduate areas of business management and law, with a particular flair for Organisational Studies, Management and Leadership, Contract Law, Tort Law, English Legal System and Legal Practice. I am also a skilled research and dissertation tutor able to support students through their undergraduate and master's research and dissertations.
