I have had a diverse range of careers from law to teaching. On the way I obtained my first degree in Natural sciences with biology with the Open University. I then undertook my teaching qualification with a chemistry specialism.
Whilst I was teaching I then decided to take a MSc in Personalised Nutrition which included in depth research into the functions of our bodies and how the chemistry of food can interact with our bodies and change our health.
I have been a full time science teacher for 7 years, I have also privately tutored for the last 4 years and been an exam marker for the last 4 years.
In my spare time I like to go canoeing and any other adventure sport I can get invited to.

I have tutored privately for 4 years at GCSE and A level chemistry and biology.
As an exam marker I have an insight into exam technique and can help you improve your grades with lots of exam practice questions
My main expertise is chemistry and biology A levels, I love teaching at this level. I have tutored all topics for AQA, Edexcel and OCR for both subjects in the past 4 years. I am also happy to teach GCSE and triple science.
I have tutored over 40 students, all of which have improved on their expected grades by at least 2 grades. Many of my students have been awarded A and A* grades in their exams, even those that originally were predicted to fail.
