About Me
I started my career as a nurse aide and continued on to become a LPN and then a RN working with geriatric patients and on to different types of Intensive care units. I then studied to become an educator. I worked as a college Professor of nursing in the clinical environment and eventually the classroom full time. I then enhanced my love of learning and profession by becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner and I am working to complete my Doctorate of Nursing. Healthcare is not just a career choice, it is my passion.
I love to garden and grow everything I can to include potatoes, two pear trees and a peach tree. The oranges have been a struggle, but it’s a work in progress!
Tutor Experience
I have over 10 years of experience teaching clinical and didactically. I understand this journey of nursing all too well and the importance of having outstanding support. I teach with a passion and personalize my lessons just for you. My goal is to provide you with that much needed support and make nursing come alive for you.

Pharmacology and techniques to help remember medications
Patient care scenarios to enhance understanding and challenge your thinking
Provide Nclex style questions
Capstone projects and essays in relation to healthcare
Topic Expertise
Nursing across the lifespan with a concentration of Med/Surg nursing in preparation for testing and real world assignments.
Tutoring Subjects
Qualifications
Masters degree in education. University level classrooms and online platforms to include simulation Labs and SIMman operations.
