About Me
Outside of my academic work I have many other interests and hobbies. I enjoy playing football, visiting art galleries and travelling with friends.
Tutor Experience
I am a doctor who graduated from the University of Oxford with a medical degree (BMBCh) and a MA in Medical Sciences. I currently work as an Associate Clinical Teacher at Imperial College London. I have been awarded membership of the academy of medical educators (MAcadMEd) and have received awards for teaching excellence. I have completed a postgraduate qualification in clinical education (PGCert) and have achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
I feel very privileged to have received such a high quality education and I would feel great satisfaction in sharing the knowledge and skills I have gained with students. Studying a degree with a strong scientific emphasis has fuelled my enthusiasm for science and maths, and I feel I can ably pass on such determination and drive to others.
A decade of tutoring experience has allowed me to hone such skills. When teaching, I am always adaptive, making my best efforts to ensure students are comfortable with the content and will help them to explore methods of learning to achieve their full potential. I have experience as an academic tutor and examiner at the University of Oxford, King's College London and Imperial College London.
Having studied at Oxford, I have great awareness of the many challenges which accompany the application process. I have spent many years coaching students in the process of university admissions, many of whom have received offers from leading universities, including Oxford.
