About Me
I've lived on three continents (Africa, Europe and North America). I enjoy learning new languages and speak some French, Hungarian and Esperanto -- but definitely not enough to teach yet!
Tutor Experience
I have been a volunteer tutor in secondary school and for 1.5 years while at university. I've also helped more junior colleagues study for AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) exams.
As a result, I'm very skilled when it comes to explaining technical subjects and preparing personalised lessons.
The most important thing is to not just "teach for the test" but to understand the underlying reasoning and logic of something. This can be especially tricky for some accounting or business concepts! However, I'm very patient and comfortable going over something until a student can grasp it with confidence.

My main experience is in accounts preparation and related topics, such as bookkeeping.
I also have practical experience in statutory audit, corporation tax computations and personal tax computations.
