Dr Larisa Blazic DMD, MSc, Spec, MHEM, PhD is a distinguished full-time professor in several fields: dental pathology, operative odontology, endodontics, and dental materials at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, with over 23 years of teaching experience and 30 years of clinical experience. She has been serving as the Assistant Director at Dental Clinic of Vojvodina since 2008 where she maintains a refferal clinical practice at the Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics. Professor Blazic also holds an academic position as a visiting professor in the field of biomedicine and health care at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Care, University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, Croatia.
She graduated in February 1990, and in 1994 she specialized in mouth and teeth diseases (oral medicine, periodontology, operative dental medicine and endodontics), gained two MSc degrees: first in 1998 (in dental medicine field), second in 2019 (in the health economy and management field), and a PhD degree in dental medicine in 2003.
She is a licensed Doctor of Dental Medicine, member of: Serbian Medical Association – Society of Doctors of Vojvodina - Dental Medicine Section, Serbian Dental Chamber, Serbian Endodontic Society, European Society of Endodontology and Serbian Optical Society.
As an author and co-author, professor Blazic has participated both domestically and internationally in more than 130 original articles and reviews in refereed international and national journals, conference papers, invited speeches, presentations, lectures and national and international research projects. She has been cited more than 700 times in scientific publications.
Professor Blazic is an expert in academic dental medicine possessing clinical proficiency, skillful in professional lecturing, clinical practice and scientific work.
