Although teaching and research is my full-time job, however, I enjoy teaching, interacting with students, hearing feedback from them, seeing them succeed and excel.
In my free time, I watch soccer and stream Netflix. My favourite team since 2013 is Liverpool and my favourite show is the Big Bang Theory.
I worked as a teaching assistant, marker, and lab instructor at the University of Alberta, Canada. I taught power electronics and variable speed drives, where I helped students to understand and apply courses theoretical material in lab sessions using typical industrial equipment (PLX15 DC Drive, PowerFlex 70 AC Drive, Allen-Bradley Induction Machine, and Power quality analyzer).
Additionally, I taught several power system courses (Electrical Measurements, Energy Conversion Systems, Induction Machines, Modern Control, Transmission and Distribution of Electrical Energy, Power System Analysis and Power Electronics) at Ain Shams University and Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, Egypt.
I also prepared theoretical material and co-supervision of Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Protection, High Voltage, Automation (ABB PLCs and ABB VSDs), and Electrical Measurements labs.
