I am a qualified Doctor with a medical degree (Distinction) and PhD from the University of Cambridge as part of the MB PhD programme. In addition, I have an intercalated degree from the University of Cambridge in Physiology, Development and Neuroscience during which I completed research studying the mechanisms of learning in a part of the brain called the cerebellum. My PhD was based in the Department of Medicine, Addenbrooke's hospital in which I investigated the use of artificial intelligence for the prediction of stroke.
I have several years' of experience teaching students GCSE and A-level Biology, as well as helping prospective medical students with their applications. I love to share my knowledge with others, and help them achieve their full potential.
I specialise in teaching A-level (AQA and OCR) and GCSE (AQA)/IGCSE (Edexcel) Biology. I am familiar with the requirements of the different exam boards, and can tailor my teaching specifically to your needs. Homework is set online each week to consolidate understanding, and to gain practice with answering exam-style questions.
Throughout my medical degree, I have successfully helped prospective university students and medical students with their application process, including personal statement review, interview preparation (panel interviews, multiple mini-interviews, Oxbridge interviews) and UKCAT/BMAT revision.
IGCSE Edexcel Biology
A-level Biology (AQA, OCR A & B, Edexcel B only)

Amazing tutor
Great lesson, Elizabeth gave me a very holistic approach to revising my personal statement and offered many useful suggestions when addressing the fluency and structure of my passage. :)
Elizabeth gave me advice about preparing for medical school applications, covering A level revision techniques and materials, UCAT and BMAT preparation, and choosing and applying to universities. She gave me several really useful ideas that I hadn't considered before, and she was very nice and easy to talk to!
Everything is clearly explained :)
The girls always show exceptional engagement and retention levels after seeing Elizabeth. Excellent
