Originally, I am from Amsterdam. I moved to the UK five years ago. I study for my PhD on crime groups at Oxford University. Next to work, I enjoy running and rowing. I also very much enjoy traveling, trying new dishes in each country: stews in Nigeria, street food in Vietnam, diner food during a U.S. road trip.
I am a tutor at Oxford University, teaching political sociology to undergraduates. I have been a private tutor for over four years, teaching maths and statistics to high school students and university students. In particular, I enjoy teaching these topics, because I overcame my own fear for them, and very much believe this makes me a better teacher.
