I have previously studied Psychology to at Bachelors and Masters level, at the University Birmingham, achieving a first class honours degree. I am currently studying for a PhD at Coventry University. My PhD is also psychology-based, and in my research I am exploring how digital interventions - things like apps, wearables, and online courses - can help University students achieve positive mental health and wellbeing, as well as feel confident in their studies!
I am currently available to support you/your child with Psychology at postgraduate and undergraduate level.
Terms of working
I pride myself on being as flexible as possible, so if you have a last minute request please do ask! However due to a busy schedule I may not always be available, so wherever possible please make lesson requests ahead of time to ensure we can find a time that works for your deadlines and both of our schedules.
Please note that cancellation requests need to be made at least 4 hours prior to the lesson time. Unfortunately repeated cancellations will result in termination of the tutoring contract.
Offered but unconfirmed slots
If a lesson slot remains unconfirmed 2 hours prior to the lesson it will be cancelled, as unconfirmed slots take time away from other students if not attended, and give inadequate preparation time if confirmed with little notice.
I have provided over 200 bespoke 1:1 and small groups lessons online, from GCSE to University level, in Psychology and also GCSE English Language. At present, I am also teaching Psychology at a UK-based university.
I have previously worked on another research project within the NHS, developing a website, lesson activities, and educational videos to help teachers support their students' mental wellbeing - so I am able to make students feel confident and empowered in their learning! :)
It's safe to say I have some experience with preparing for exams and applying to University, and understand that this presents unique challenges for every learner. When I was in school I tutored literacy on a 1:1 basis, and volunteered as a teaching assistant in a GCSE-level Psychology class - I have always enjoyed helping other students to achieve their potential!
I have expertise in tutoring Psychology right from GCSE to postgraduate level, and every level in between. Although I am able to teach all areas of Psychology, I am particularly interested in mental health and well-being, health psychology, and clinical psychology.
This was my first session with Celine, she gave me amazing guidance and addressed all the areas of my work I wasn’t confident in. Celine is very knowledgeable in data analysis and how to structure statistical results- I’ve already scheduled our next class!
Class was packed with info and tips, extremely helpful.
Celine allayed my fears and addressed the anxiety I feel. She is quick and smart and helped me understand complex tasks. I now feel that I am understanding things better.
Brilliant. Celine was patient and the support she provided was positive and insightful. Very highly recommended
