About Me
I have been a lecturer for more than 12 years and have coached more than 350 (+) students from different parts of the world and time zones. Since 2010, I have been teaching for professional qualifications like ACCA, CIMA, Marketing Management & International G.C.S.E Papers .
My professional background is finance and accounting and I have 16+ years of corporate experience to add value to my lecturing experience.
Tutor Experience
During my 12 years of teaching I have dealt with different students. The approach has been tailor made to suit the student’s requirement. Each student is unique in their own ways and I have understood the art of knowing them first and then applying what is more relevant to them.
Clearing doubts by relating to real world examples makes it easy for them to learn the subject in depth and it will also provide them with a sense of what is expected when they progress in their higher education.
Generally, I keep my classes between 60-90 minutes. A shorter session with more interaction always helps to keep the student’s focus on the subject than just reading it from a book or notes.
My objective is to get the student to gain confidence in passing the exam which is the 1st hurdle.
I always believe, if a student obtains 1 mark above the pass score, is purely on the effort of the student.
One of my highest achievements so far is that I was able to have consistent pass rates of 80-90% for the last 5 years.
