About Me
I went through an "unconventional" route to complete my Medicine degree, and had many trials and tribulations along the way. So, I know how difficult the journey to get into medical school and medical school itself is! I would love to help you get through any of your own trying times, be it a difficult topic, practicalities of a career in Medicine, or your medical school application.
I am someone who will be honest with you but I also believe in balance - yes, you should study hard but you also need to study smart. I don't believe in 12-hour study days where you lose all other aspects of your life, so I will encourage you to work smart and remind you to take breaks and look after your wellbeing too.
Also, I am a fitness enthusiast and love to spend time outside moving my body.
Tutor Experience
I have been tutoring for over 8 years, both online and in-person. It is the most rewarding experience to teach and witness the moment something *clicks* in a student's brain.
To this date, I have completed a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, as well as a Medical degree. My undergraduate degree was focused around anatomy, physiology, embryology, and neuroscience which gave me a great base of fundamental knowledge before I undertook my medical training. I also completed a dissertation about treatments used in Multiple Sclerosis in my 4th year at medical school which allowed me to gain experience in academic writing.
I have tutored high school biology, chemistry, and maths, as well as medical school students with medical topics. Additionally, I have tutored medical school applicants undertaking the UCAT/GAMSAT entrance exams.
