Online 11+ Tutor David

Hi there! I'm David - a fully qualified primary school teacher (BEd) with 10 years teaching experience in England. I've taught children with SEN, EAL, behavioural problems and gifted children, across all primary stages.

Most of my teaching has been in Year 6, specialising in getting children ready for the 11+ exams (English, Maths, Verbal & Non Verbal) and SATs papers (Reading, SPaG & Maths). I know how tricky and confusing it can be for children - and parents - in the lead up to these tests. My aim is to build your child's knowledge and confidence in each paper, find their specific tricky areas to help with targeted questioning, and ease the pressure of testing overall.

I pride myself on being a motivator, someone who can inspire children to do their best, and cater lessons specifically to their needs and interests. My aim is to help bridge the gaps in childrens' learning and help them identify the areas they need to improve in - while making learning fun!

I will help your child identify their areas for development and work on these through effective questioning, problem solving and follow up homework if you think it is needed.
