I am a fully qualified teacher with 20 years of experience at internationally recognised UK Independent Schools and Universities, alongside a solid track record of private tutoring. I hold an undergraduate degree in History, Politics, Philosophy as well as two postgraduate degrees in Historical Research and Law.
I am currently a member of the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn studying to be called to the Bar of England & Wales.
I am new to Spires, however as a fully qualified teacher with 20 years of experience at internationally recognised UK Independent Schools and Universities, alongside a solid track record of private tutoring, I am looking forward to getting started. I hold an undergraduate degree in History, Politics, Philosophy as well as two postgraduate degrees in Historical research and Law. As such, I am confident in my ability to deliver exceptional educational support and student mentorship.
I have successfully taught A-Level History, Politics and Law covering the OCR, Edexcel, CIAE and AQA syllabus, regularly achieving outstanding results and enabling students to progress to their first choice university.
I am a professional examiner for the Edexcel and CIEA boards in History and Politics. I therefore understand what examiners require in student answer and how to provide them.
From 2014 to 2021, I expanded my teaching expertise at the University of London, where I instructed students in International Relations as part of the International Foundation Programme (IFP). I tutor undergraduate Law students pursuing their LLB, ensuring they achieve academic success through personalised and focused guidance.
I have extensive experience tutoring Gifted and Talented students, preparing candidates for Oxbridge interviews and assisting them with UCAS personal statements. Additionally, I have provided specialized tutoring for the LNAT Law entry test and conducted intensive preparation courses. I also assist students applying to Ivy League colleges in the United States.
My private tutoring career, which began in 2007, has afforded me the opportunity to work with students of all abilities from high-net-worth individuals to students retaking their exams hoping to achieve better grades. The key is to listen to students needs and provide them
