Online Economics and Business Tutor Kyle

I spent fourteen years as a Head of Department in two leading UK Independent schools (ISI rated excellent) teaching A-level Economics, GCSE and A-Level Business. I have taught many international pupils from different European countries and Asian nations, mainly China and Korea. As someone with an international outlook I always incorporate economic approaches and business culture from around the world into lessons and tutorials. Prior to working as a Head of Department, I taught in London comprehensive schools delivering A-Level and GCSE Business, A-Level Accounting and KS3 and GCSE ICT. I currently teach GCSE and A-Level Economics in a local Grammar School.

I am currently an Edexcel examiner and have also examined for AQA. My marking has been graded at the top level for both boards. Recently, I have also been a Lead Verifier for BTEC Level 3 Business with successful moderation of marking.

My approach is to nurture students in my care through developmental feedback strategies. Examination approaches are key to every session in helping students fully understand the application of theory. All tutorials are interactive with questions provided for students and support with examination techniques. Where necessary additional materials can be provided. You can be assured that all tutorials are planned and prepared in advance.

Edexcel A-Level Economics -
I have taught all four themes of the Economics A specification since it was introduced in 2015. In this time I have been on numerous subject specific training events and fully understand the approach to examinations and what is required in each topic.

Edexcel A-Level Business -
I have taught across Theme 1 and Theme 4 on this course but also planned and resourced the other two Themes. As with economics I can provide detailed understanding of examination techniques and answer structures.

CCEA
I currently teach all elements the current CCEA A -level Economics specification, GCSE Economics and GCSE Business Studies.

AQA
I have also taught the current AQA A-Level Economics and Business Specifications for Year 2. I can support with the more challenging models contained within AQA business.

With all A-level subjects, I am able to review sample answers and colour code key examinations skills to show students areas to focus upon and advise on how improvemnets can be made.

GCSE -
I have 14 years experience of a range of GCSE courses including Business Studies, Economics, Business and Communication Systems. If you need particular help with more challenging areas such as finance then I can help break down the theory into more manageable content.


BTEC Level 3 National Business -
I have experience delivering the following units: BTEC Unit 1 Understanding Business, BTEC Unit 3 Business Finance and Personal Finance and BTEC Unit 5 International Business.

If you need need support with structuring assessments and/or advice on what must be included I can help break it down and assist with planning.

I have been an examiner for Edexcel and AQA Economics both at AS and A-Level in the past 8 years.
I am an approved examiner and verifier for BTEC Level 3 Business.
