About Me
I have a Bachelors in Mathematics and Masters in Actuarial Science with an exerience of over 14 years of tutoring secondary/IB mathematics , A level statistics , finance subjects at all levels .My strength is teaching the tough mathematics and statistics required to solve the problems. I love interaction with the students & guide them for a holistic career around Statistics and Finance. All my taught students are now working with reputed firms across the world.
I am also a party qualified Actuary from the IFoA London . I am expert in teaching Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics subject to graduate and post graduate students. With an experience over 12 years, my focus is essentially based on conceptual clarity with whole lot of numerical problems. I teach core and advance papers of actuarial science, i.e. Business Finance, Financial Engineering and Loss Reserving, Actuarial Risk Management, Models & Communication. I am also engage in actuarial research in the areas of finance and investment, risk management and health insurance. I look forward to meet you in the class
Tutor Experience
I have been teaching since 2012 onwards. I have taught both online and offline students at school , undergraduate and post graduation level. During my days of teaching I have had good and difficult students . I try to come to their level of understanding and clear the concept. I am patient and give good time to the student so that they can understand and revise the concept well.
For Example - In Finance I teach concepts in both Basics and Advanced Finance using numerical example. Giving them real life examples from Annual Report of the Companies and calculating their risk and return over a period of time.
Similarly In Statistics , I teach the inferential statistics related to data, parameter, Testing data using hypothesis and applying regression techniques to the multi variable data.
