I was awarded a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, at KAIST, Korea in 2005. Prior to joining the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), UK in 2013 as a Lecturer, I was an Aerothermal engineer at Pratt & Whitney Canada, which is a Canadian aircraft engines manufacturer. Since 2022, I’m working at School of Mechanical Engineering, Coventry University as a Senior Lecturer. I have more than ten years professional experience in Higher Education in the Engineering fields, including valuable relevant industrial experience. And, I'm a Chartered Engineer (CEng) as a member of Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), UK.
During last more than 10 years, I have first-hand teaching experience of higher education in the UK and Canada. I was also qualified by the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching at Queen's University Belfast (I am a Fellow of the Advance HE, former Higher Education Academy). From my strong experience, I'm confident on my teaching strategy and understand various students’ thoughts and needs. Furthermore, the teaching process has to be student-centered and a constant effort is required to continuously reflect/improve on my own teaching performance.
I have strong experience on Mathematics, Physics and Engineering in A-Level and University.
Really good at breaking down the problems and explaining how they work
Class went really well and Robbie would like to schedule another in for Sunday 17th December in the afternoon.
This session was truly helpful to me, I was stuck and could not solve a simple equation, but after this session, Sung in, cleared everything and I can now proceed with my work. Thank you.
The session was so helpful and made a lot of things clear to me.
It was terrible first 15 minutes passed for saying hello and asking about what I am studing how ever I sent my slides before! Then after starting to solve the problem I did 2 of them and he couldn’t solve the third one which I had problem!!!!!!!!! And it was 40 minutes passed! I asked him to finish the class and refund my money asap!
