About Me
I have a master’s degree in education (M. Ed.) from Essex University, UK. I successfully completed my NQT introduction year in the UK after receiving a QTS from Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. I attained my bachelor’s degrees in mathematics (B.Sc.) and Education (B.Ed.) from Kerala University, India.
I have been teaching mathematics in secondary schools for many years. I have abundant experience in theory-based as well as problem-based teaching. I can explain difficult concepts in the easiest possible manner. I teach lessons online by using various innovative methods of instruction and effective digital platforms or collaboration tools such as MS TEAMS and One-Note in Office 365.
Tutor Experience
I have extensive experience in theory-based and problem-based teaching. In my eighteen years of British curriculum teaching, I have prepared students for GCSE/IGCSE and A-level and International A-level exams with various exam boards: Edexcel, Cambridge, OCR and AQA. I relish the opportunity to teach students from different educational and social backgrounds. As an expert teacher, I help nurture my students’ analytic and critical thinking skills, especially those useful in mathematics, to express themselves logically.
Topic Expertise
Mathematics is my favourite subject and I love teaching it. I have a bachelor's degree and a teacher training degree in Mathematics. Working as an examiner for GCSE and A-level mathematics with a UK exam board enable me to gain insight into the assessment process which in turn help me to prepare students for their exams.
