Fully-qualified and British-trained Mathematics teacher with 10+ years of teaching experience, from Primary & SATs to GCSE, A-Level and International Baccalaureate Higher Level. I work with my students throughout the week, and not just during our sessions together, to ensure they achieve their goals. Every session includes a tailored worksheet so that students are practising mathematics daily, with marking and feedback given at the end of each week.

I am a fully-qualified mathematics teacher, registered to teach Primary & Secondary in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
I am also a Profesor Titulado de Matemáticas in Spain, with 10+ years of teaching experience in the UK and Spain.
I am a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, ranked in the top 100 universities worldwide in 2023, with a postgraduate in Mathematics Education from the University of Chichester, UK.
You can communicate with me in English, Catalan & Spanish.
I taught KS3, GCSE and A-Level Mathematics in Bristol Brunel, UK, for 4 years. I also taught International Baccalaureate Mathematics in Oak House School, a private international school in Sarrià, Barcelona, for a further 4 years.
I was previously a member of the South-west of England Working Group for Mathematical Reasoning, dedicated to improving the reasoning skills of students in schools throughout the region.
I now work with students online, giving them the confidence to succeed and the knowledge and understanding required to ace their school work.
Each class is accompanied by a Daily Practice sheet, giving students 5 to 10 minutes of tailored practice for the days between each class.
I mark and return this sheet to the student, and we spend time in the next class discussing what went well and how they can improve.
We will not just discuss mathematics – I will also spend time on motivation, routines, thinking styles, and efficiency with the student.
My approach is very much student-led – a typical class will begin by asking the student to explain what they know about a specific topic.
We will fill in the gaps in the student’s understanding, and once the concept has been understood, we will spend the remainder of the class practising questions.
I bring the student’s understanding of a topic to one level above what they might need to achieve success in their year-group, to ensure that they feel comfortable with school exams.
I use an iPad & pen and specialised software called Bitpaper for the classes. The student does not need any specialised equipment, but an iPad and pen can make the student’s experience completely seamless.
We share a whiteboard where we can both draw and write on, as if we were sitting next to each other sharing a piece of paper, with an integrated video call too.
I specialise in International Baccalaureate Mathematics (including both Applications & Interpretation, and Analysis & Approaches), A-Level Mathematics, GCSE, and the transition from Primary mathematics to Secondary mathematics (Year 5 to Year 9), including SATs. I also tutor students for the Irish Junior and Leaving Certificate exams.
