I spent 4 years studying Mathematics at the University of Cambridge until June 2019, and now I am embarking on a PhD at Oxford University under the supervision of Prof Andrew Wiles, focussing on Number Theory.
I have tutored many students from Primary School level through to Cambridge undergraduates - including preparation for GCSEs, A Levels, STEP, UKMT Maths Challenges and private school entrance exams. My experience with a wide range of ages and abilities (as well as other challenges such as a blind GCSE maths student), have given me a well rounded ability to approach problems from the correct direction for the student, as well as the depth of understanding to adapt to a student's preferred methods.
Many of my tutees have gone on to be very successful in their Mathematics, including 100% scores in UKMT Maths Challenges, and scholarships to high profile schools.
My expertise is in A Level Maths and Further Maths, specifically the Pure topics. I also have a lot of experience with STEP, the entrance paper for Cambridge Mathematics.
George is an absolutely brilliant maths teacher and has helped me to achieve a perfect score in UK Maths Challenge.
Deeply inspiring especially for understanding the SMC and IMOK for maths Olympiads.
Always brilliant!
amazing maths - highly recommended.
