About Me
I am a tutor of Psychology and teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a 1st class degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences, and have since been successfully tutoring students in many different aspects of Psychology. I have also worked in three mental health teams (and gained a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Mental Health Practices) meaning I also have knowledge of Psychology in practice.
I am a warm, friendly tutor with experience in helping students of different ages and experience levels across various tasks such as personal statement planning, essay writing, exam and interview preparation, guided reading, and subject exploration.

Tutor Experience
I have two years of professional experience teaching Psychology to students from AS level to Master's level. I have experience in exam preparation, essay competition writing, subject exploration (i.e. delivering sessions about specific topics of interest), and interview preparations for prestigious universities.
I would like to begin with understanding exactly what your goals are and the kind of support you envisage from me. My approach is then dependent upon your needs, and sessions can take many forms: from pre-prepared and taught lessons; to engaged verbal discussion of articles to deepen your understanding; to brainstorming sessions for essay writing - for example.

Topic Expertise
I took many modules including social psychology, developmental psychology (including a focus on gender), neuroscience and cognitive psychology during my degree. However, psychopathology and mental health are my specialisms, given my postgraduate diploma and my professional practice in these areas.
