About Me
Imran is an experienced teacher with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, who is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. He holds a First Class Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from King's college and PGCE from Institute of Education (UCL). Imran is currently the course leader for both Maths A level and Further Maths A level at a leading sixth form college. He is very patient and aims to explain the most difficult things in the simplest of ways. He enjoys the satisfaction of helping others improve and achieve great results.
Tutor Experience
Imran is a qualified Maths Teacher with over 10 years teaching experience from variety of teaching environments. He is currently a lecturer and course leader of A level Maths and Further Math at a high achieving Sixth Form College near London. He has an in-depth knowledge of the most recent syllabus changes for the exam boards, as well as up to date knowledge on the subject matter. Imran has taught Mathematics for Economics a module for the UCL external degree programme. He has also taught Arabic language at a prestigious establishment in London having helped students from SOAS and Westminster with their Arabic degree programmes. Having taught language has opened new approaches to teaching Mathematics
Imran has been tutoring since 2005 and has helped numerous students from a wide range of backgrounds. A recent student has gone from their first year end of year mock exams of a grade E to grade B just after having tuition over the summer period. The student is currently on target for achieving an A/A* grade this summer.
