My experience and drive have always been based on Student-Centred Learning: Promoting active student participation, collaboration, and autonomy in learning processes.

I have over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience, (in a traditional classroom setting and online), and I can honestly say that I have found my true vocation in life. There is nothing more fulfilling and encouraging than supporting others on their journey to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Twenty years have passed, and I have retrained and qualified as an English Language Teacher abroad passing the University of Cambridge CELTA certificate (B-pass) and working for International House and the British Council. I gained extensive experience teaching Business English, Cambridge examinations, and General English across age groups and backgrounds.
I have also gained solid experience in a London State School as a Mentor, with the training and guidance of a school educational psychologist. On moving to Spain, ten years ago, I worked as a teacher in a prestigious British School in Madrid and a large, international ISP School in Alicante, Spain as a KS1/KS2 Teacher and Literacy Subject Leader.

The need to adapt quickly to a virtual classroom setting during the pandemic with approximately 22 students in the class was an exciting challenge. Innovative resources and techniques were necessary to lead and inspire a team of teachers and engage students. This was a steep and enjoyable learning curve, which led me to reassess and become a full-time online tutor. I have since been empowering and motivating Business English and General English students globally, by tailoring classes specifically to their personal needs.

I help students overcome personal barriers in the area of English communication - conferences, presentations, meetings, briefings, and the tools needed to pass the Cambridge examinations. I have successfully motivated Business students to host important events in English, by providing a range of structured classes, context, and positive feedback on performance. My sole aim is to provide unwavering assistance and reassurance in a safe and dynamic learning environment.
