I am an experienced GMAT instructor who helps students to maximize their performance in both quantitative and verbal sections. I can help students fully-prepare, and specialize in working with students who have exhausted all other preparation methods for the GMAT and are still falling short of their goal.
My Work:
Mentoring is much more than tutoring or coaching. In addition to teaching, our work will focus on optimizing your thoughts and decisions in a timed environment, the critical skill for the GMAT. I will teach you mental shortcuts and show you how to approach problems from multiple angles simultaneously. I will listen to the way you think through problems and show a better way to think through the problems if necessary. Not only will I answer your questions, but I'll also focus on identifying and eliminating your weaknesses.
* Your problem solving accuracy will increase.
* You will answer the hardest questions logically.
* You will master the timing of the CAT.
Looking forward to help you achieve your goals.

Great session!
I 10000% recommended Sam as a tutor. He is very lovely and takes the time to explain everything to you. I had not studied math in a long time so I very much needed the help and it definitely worked. If you are looking for a GMAT tutor you have found him!
Super! Going through all the basic math concepts as I haven’t done math since high school and gives lots of extra work to do in between lessons. Very helpful if you haven’t done maths in ages!
Sam has been a great help with my GMAT quantitative section. he has helped work through a lot of the problems and has been able to adjust the material based on what I need. He is really helping me improve immeasurably in the GMAT. 10/10 would recommend
excellent help for the quantittive section of the gmat
I have taken GMAT lessons for both math and verbal sections from Sam over the last few weeks. Having been away from studies for a long time, I needed a tutor, who is patient and knows the GMAT well. Sam meets the criteria successfully. He doesn't hesitate to patiently explain a concept from multiple angles to help me understand it better.
After each lesson, I came back with a better understanding of the concepts tested and with more confidence in my abilities to perform well in the exam.
Sam's adept understanding of the GMAT exam has been helpful, as it allows me to smartly focus on the areas that are important to score well. Sam's long experience in teaching the GMAT reflects during the lessons, as he helped me organize my studies to reduce stress, and balance studies with my other responsibilities.
During my discussions with Sam, I realized that Sam is well aware about the admission requirements of most of the top business schools in the US and Europe. Many of his past students have completed their MBA from such schools. His insights have been helping me prepare for the application process.
Sam is friendly, approachable, and genuinely wants his students to perform well. He makes you work hard during the preparation, but that is in the interest of his students. Sam is fair, flexible, prepares well before each lesson to help his students, and conducts his lessons with integrity.
I could not have found a better tutor to prepare for the GMAT. I highly recommend Sam to anyone aiming to do well in the GMAT exam.
Best tutor ever. Sam always simplifies hard questions.
Sam has really helped me rebuild my basic quantitive skills in order to tackle the GMAT. His tuition is very methodic and adaptable to my needs. I feel much more confident already, the homework that Sam sets is of huge benefit and allows me to progress greatly beyond the one to one sessions.
I have now been a tutee of Sam for close to four months. He spent the first two months covering all quant and verbal topics with me. Sam believes in the importance of addressing fundamental understanding of each topic first. He explained the basic concepts clearly. He supported his explanations by performing questions during the lesson, gradually raising their difficulty level. Sam also had other questions on hand to share for homework which was helpful. Feeling assured that I had grasped and was able to apply most of the concepts, I was encouraged to attempt the questions from the Official Guide and the GMAT trial papers. Sam is happy to take any questions I may have from my practice. He looks at the questions and prepares his explanations even before the lesson. When I need something to be explained again, he does so patiently. Besides teaching how to look out for specific keywords, apply certain rules and solve the questions, Sam also offers techniques on time-management and stress-relief that are useful for exam-readiness. His knowledge of the GMAT exam is palpable based on his ability to address all my doubts about the exam format and rules. After doing 5 trial papers, my score has improved from 620 to 720.

I had taken a Princeton Review course in 2019 to prepare for the GRE, which did not meet my needs nor enable me to attain my target score.
Two years later, I was ready to try again with purpose. I found Sam through a simple Google search and we spoke about my profile and needs.
Sam structured the daunting amount of GRE content in order to make it manageable to memorize and understand all the concepts. He also provided me with a customized study plan which helped instrumentally (I have a full-time job), rather than me trying to create and maneuver my own. I also did several practice tests and after each, Sam provided expert feedback suitable to my learning style and introduced strategies to gradually improve my scores on practice tests to reach my target score. He also had useful tips on how to optimally manage test psychology to build endurance.
Overall, Sam has a really great way of instilling confidence in you and coaching you through the entire process. He also helped me understand how the test writers write the test which made me feel much more confident going into the exam for my second try. I ended up scoring much higher than before.
Sam also provided me with guidance beyond GRE preparation on presenting an effective candidature to Masters programs (i.e., resume preparation, presenting professional details for admission essays, and strategies to optimally network with schools).
I highly recommend seeing Sam for standardized testing and school candidature needs!
