I am a physicist and cosmologist by training, with several years' experience in research. My main expertise is in cosmology, data science, and astrophysics. My secondary activity is teaching and outreach.
2016 onwards: Involved in outreach activities as a member of the Paris Centre for Cosmological Physics.
Mentored FutureLearn MOOC ('Gravity!', 2016 and 2017)
Helped design MOOC on gravitational waves ('Gravity Storms', 2019)
2012 – 2014: Mentored PhD students, and organised seminars at the AstroParticle & Cosmology institute, University of Paris.
2014: Led 'Teaching the Universe' workshop with George F. Smoot. Part of a series of workshops on cosmology designed for sixth-form science students, and undergraduates.
2011 – 2012: Visiting lecturer at the University of Malta, where I designed and taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in physics, and scientific and technological innovation.
2010: Mathematics lecturer (sixth-form and O Level) at the Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology
