About Me
I am a passionate and dedicated Biology teacher, I have been working in highly academic school environments throughout my career and I love talking about and teaching Biology.
I think Biology is the most interesting thing there is and I hope I can instil that same feeling in my students.
I love following cartoonists like Beatrice the Biologist and Nathan Pyle.
I am an avid reader of scientific literature and this enables me to keep abreast of modern biology
I am a keen diver, hiker and skier when I am not teaching, Don't get me talking about the wonderful world of fish!
Tutor Experience
I have been tutoring for about 15 years a range of students and have always worked with them to ensure that they develop a love of the subject and attain the highest possible grades.
I have taught a range of different students, GCSE and A level.
I take the time to talk through the content in a clear and careful way to ensure students feel confident in all of the key ideas.
my focus is on discussion, collaboration and questions.
Sessions should always include an opportunity to apply your knowledge by attempting exam style questions and receiving support and feedback to improve.
Topic Expertise
I have a broad and deep knowledge of Biology which comes from teaching A level Biology in highly academic environments for the last 15 years.
I have taught AQA and IGCSE for many years as well as AQA, WJEC and OCR Biology A level to thousands of students.
