About Me

I have 18 years of tutoring/lecturing experience in f2f and online learning environments; I am a sociologist with an MSc in political sociology and a Phd in sociology. I have therefore a wider academic interest in sociology and politics, including research methods, whereby I feel confident to teach at graduate and undergraduate levels.

Tutor Experience

My teaching experience comes from UK-based institutions, whereby I have taught A-Level (politics, sociology and research skills), undergraduate (Sociology of modernity, globalisation and governance) and graduate (research project preparation and supervision) courses . Modules in these areas included:

- International Relations: ‘International Relations & Globalisation’ (topics: theories in IR, human rights and climate change)
- Sociology: ‘Socialisation, Culture and Identity’ (topics: agencies of socialisation, sociological theories, sociology of education and religion)
