About Me
I recently finished a PhD in History at the University of Oxford, having previously completed degrees there and at UCL.
I am passionate about teaching the Humanities to young people, in ways that not only lead to success in exams but which are exciting and fun.
Tutor Experience
I have extensive experience teaching small groups and individual students, with particular expertise in approaches to essay writing and exam technique but also aiding student understandings of content. I taught undergraduates in one-on-one tutorials and classes for three years at the University of Oxford, and also have experience teaching students at GCSE and A Level
Topic Expertise
I would be enthusiastic to hear from potential pupils (at GCSE level and above) on Humanities topics, and have particular expertise in History, English Literature and Philosophy. I am also happy to help with study and essays skills in a more general way.
