After graduating from a two-year MSc at UCL and The Anna Freud Centre, I worked around 21 months as a Research Associate at a university in Cyprus before starting my PhD at University of Edinburgh. During this time, I have led several research projects and I currently have two first author publications; one of which applied a qualitative analytical approach and the other one a quantitative.
I tutor and supervise both BSc, MSc, and PhD students in Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods, including academic writing. I’m also delivering tutorials to groups of MSc students and marking assessments as an Academic Tutor at the University of Edinburgh. I truly care about the people I help and will always go out of my way to deliver my very best. My pedagogy is to empower students to recognise and understand the solutions themselves; preferably divergent ones.
I have particular expertise in the following statistical tests: linear regression, multiple regression, multivariate multiple regression, curvilinear regression, mediation, moderation, ANOVAs, MANOVAs, MANCOVAs, t-tests, binomial logistic regression, multinomial logistic regression, meta-analysis, and a range of other tests, including correlation analyses, Chi-square tests and so on. I use both SPSS and R to conduct these tests.
I'm further interested in helping students with a range of qualitative analyses. I have particular experience with thematic analysis and content analysis, but will be able to help out with alternative analyses as well.
In addition, I'm keen to help out with systematic reviews, literature reviews, and academic writing.
