About Me
I’m not your average biology tutor…
I’m a 5th Year Medical Student, but it wasn’t always like this.
I used to struggle in school getting sub-optimal grades although I spent hours studying. However, after my friend showed me their study methods, I started getting A*s and ranking top 10% in medical school. The simple switch of study methods saved me wasting hours of my time and getting the top university of my choice – this is the journey I wish to share with other students and help them achieve their dreams too.
Tutor Experience
Times have changed, and rubbish study methods NEED to be scrapped.
Since I got into Medical School, I made it my mission to help other students stop wasting their time with rubbish study methods. Modern times need modern study methods, and I have been teaching this to students over the past 5 years:
1. I have tutored 80+ students for biology – for AQA, OCR and Edexcel – most of them ended up getting A/A*s
2. 94% of my students get into their chosen university course
3. I employ evidence-based study methods such as ‘active recall’ and ‘spaced repetition’ which has shown to increase retention
4. I have helped 1000s of students online for free with free Youtube videos
