Hi! I am Stefania and I am originally from Greece. I have a BSc and an MSc in Chemistry (King's College London), and now I am completing my PhD degree at Imperial College London. I have experience in tutoring students for the GCSE and A levels exams, as well as university level students. I am specialised in analytical chemistry for the pharmaceutical industry. I have lab experience in almost every field of chemistry, including Food Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Chemistry of the polymers, etc. I have also worked as a graduate teaching assistant at Imperial College for undergraduate students in chemistry and in biomedical sciences.
I strongly believe that each student is unique and that is the reason I adjust my teaching style accordingly. I think the most important part of the learning experience is understanding your mistakes and that is the reason I encourage my students to revisit a wrong answer and understand what they did wrong. So instead of giving them the right answer straight away, it is always better to guide them towards it.
5-year experience as a private tutor and as a teaching assistant for undergraduate students in chemistry and biomedical sciences. I have worked with pupils of all levels in Chemistry, from GCSE to postgraduate university level. I have experience with various examination boards including AQA, OCR, and IB.
I am specialised in Chemistry, all levels from GCSEs to postgraduate chemistry courses.
