About Me
My career path can be described as one with many turns as it has been driven by my interest to learn and evolve in my profession. I have finished my integrated master in civil engineering with honors in 2012. On the same year i started my PhD as a visiting research associate in the University of Toronto, where i fell in love with the implementation of informatics and artificial intelligence in civil engineering. I finished my phd in the topic of seismic risk assessment of bridges through model order reduction and I joined a leading software development company in the field of geotechnical and structural engineering. Through my career i have taken multiple post doctoral and external research associate positions in the topics of bridge engineering (University of Thessaloniki,University of California) and high speed railway geotechnics (University of Bristol).
I am passionate in not only learning but also transferring the knowledge i have acquired in the past years.
